We love weddings where the bride and groom put so much thought into their ceremony. After all, it’s the one moment of the wedding that makes you husband and wife. Handwritten heartfelt vows that leave no dry eyes in the audience, a friend as the officiant, walking down the aisle to the perfect song (Ingrid Michaelson’s hautingly beautiful rendition of Can’t Help Falling In Love), it’s those little details that create a beautiful ceremony. Michelle and Jonathan’s Florida Keys wedding had all of that and more. The couple traveled from Los Angeles, California to Islamorada to say I do at the Sea Ranch Estate and brought us along to capture the fun. They planned every aspect of their destination wedding, turning their big day into a big weekend. Family and friends from all over stayed at the Amara Cay Resort and made the most of their days in paradise. This couple and their crew know how to party! Dance offs left and right under the string lights in the sand at their reception made for one incredible celebration. Michelle and Jonathan have a little baby boy on the way, and we loved seeing her bump in her wedding dress and on the dance floor. That little fella is going to have some super cool folks. It makes us happy thinking that one day they’ll show these photos to their son and say this is the day mommy and daddy said I do. Big thanks to them for letting us be a part of such a special day.
